After persuading the right people, the probation service have agreed to offer a talk to current students on Monday 3rd December who may be interested in a career with the probation service. This event is open to all years to attend.

For final year students, this information session would be very advantageous for yourselves due to the fact that applications open in January for training to commence in July if successful.
This talk is for students from any subject area with an interest in a career with the National Probation Service. The session will provide an insight into the role of a probation officer, explain the entry requirements and provide an overview of the professional qualification in probation (PQIP).
The National Probation Service will be recruiting in 2019 and the session will also help you understand what the recruitment process involves and how to make an effective application. You will need to register in order to attend the event, the link is provided below.
